This Sunday, October 30th, from 1-5pm the bars of DrinkAbout are working together to support Keep-A-Breast and their efforts to eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support.

For every beer you purchase we will donate $1 to Keep-A-Breast.

October 30th is the day before Halloween. So, we encourage you to dress up, get out, have a drink or 3 and support a fantastic organization.

First buses leave Blind Lady Ale house at 7:00pm and Hamilton's at 7:10pm.

Student Documentary

Four students filmmakers with a love for great beer are making a 10 minute investigative documentary on the San Diego Microbrewery Culture. They'll be focusing on what are the elements and who are the people behind the outcropping and passion for brewing great beer in San Diego. The documentary will be turned into the UCSD Extension in late March. They will be outside on the sidewalk of The Blind Lady Ale House on Wednesday, February 17 during the DrinkAbout event as well as riding along on the bus to capture comments from participants. No one will be filmed that does not want to be and the documentary will not be sold for commercial or monetary purposes.

Blind Lady & Hamilton's on Draft Best of 2009

Both the Blind Lady Ale House and Hamilton's Tavern made Draft Magazines top 150 bars in the US and top 13 in California. So, that means that 2 of the best places in American to drink beer (according to Draft) are at opposite ends of the DrinkAbout bus route. Pretty awesome!

Join us for this month's DrinkAbout and see what Uptown SD has to offer.

Have you downloaded your schedule yet?

The first buses will be leaving Blind Lady at 7pm and Hamilton's at 7:10pm. They will run in a circular pattern until 11pm, stopping only at stops on the right side of the street. This means they will only stop at Ritual on an express route from Hamilton's to Blind Lady.

Important Tip: The buses will do their best to always stop at Toronado and Ritual at the same time so that you can transfer at this point.

We strongly suggest printing out the schedule and studying it before heading out.

If our bus schedule doesn't meet all your needs, let us suggest the 2 & 11 lines. In case you've never taken advantage of MTS, the 2 runs up and down 30th Street until around 1am and the 11 will take you all along Adams Ave until a little after 11pm.
